As generational Planning Reform Legislation, (consolidating and replacing the 2000 and previous Acts and Ministerial interventions like SIs, SPPRs, SHDs and BTRs ) , shortly to be published in full, heads for pre legislative scrutiny by the all party Oireachtas Cttee, this is a unique chance to get an expert briefing on the key issues, from the AD perspective, and participate in a lively discussion. You can later have your say, before it passes all stages into law, this term.
Gavin Daly is an experienced planner and former Irish government special advisor on planning and climate change. He currently works for the European Spatial Planning Observatory Network based in Luxembourg and a PhD candidate at the University of Liverpool studying the process of preparing the Irish National Planning Framework. He is also actively involved in Irish ENGO networks, including some successful high-profile JR cases. He also works as a planning consultant on renewable energy projects.
